The Basics
the players
Fusion Rugby teams are up to 15 players with a mixture of men and women of all abilities BUT there must be at least two players with a physical disability.
Normally teams have at least one attacking player and one defensive player on court at any once.
Each team must nominate a Captain.
the officals
The regulation ball for Fusion Rugby is considered a Size 5 rugby ball. In other words, regulation balls are 27 cm around and bigger than any other type of rugby ball.
Wheelchairs
Everyone who plays Fusion Rugby will be seated in a Wheelchair Rugby style wheelchair which is a high quality construction. They are designed to be safe for all players and to prevent anyone from gaining an unfair advantage, so no electric motors!
