The Basics
in bound
A throw in, called an “in bound”, is used to restart play after a try is scored. The in‐bounding player sits on the boundary line, just outside the court making sure all wheels are off the court. Once the ball is thrown the clock restarts.
Line out
When the ball goes out of the field of play, the opposing team is awarded a line-out. A line-out is formed by players from each team lining up inside the boundary line at 90° to it. A player throws the ball back into play but the throw must be straight just like in Rugby Union.
